LCL Shared Container Shipping

Less than Container Load (LCL) shipping allows you to send freight internationally without paying for an entire shipping container. Your cargo shares space in a container with shipments from other customers, and you pay only for the cubic metres (CBM) or weight that your goods actually occupy. This makes LCL the most economical option for small to medium-sized shipments — typically between 1 and 12 CBM — where the volume doesn't justify a full 20-foot container.

ThaiGo Moving consolidates LCL cargo at our Bangkok and Laem Chabang Container Freight Stations (CFS) weekly for all major trade lanes. Our consolidation service includes collection from your premises, CFS check-in, container stuffing with proper weight distribution and cargo securing, export customs clearance, ocean freight, destination CFS destuffing, import customs clearance at the destination CFS, and final delivery. Standard LCL transit times range from 18 to 40 days depending on the destination port.

Our experienced consolidation team segregates incompatible goods (e.g., chemicals from foodstuffs) and uses appropriate dunnage and strapping to prevent cargo damage during the voyage.
